JACOBS FIRST CAR

Jacob got HIS first car for his birthday from Grandpa Cawood. It looks like hes got a taste for expensive cars. Hopefully he will grow out of that, firstly because a diet of sports cars will be extremely expensive & secondly I cant imagine that the metal & rubber would taste very nice, or be any good for his teeth :-)

Jacob has 4 teeth at the top and 2 at the bottom. Another 2 teeth are pushing through at the bottom on each side of the ones that are already there.

Christopher & Emily had a jumping contest this afternoon. I was surprised that Christopher jumped as high as he did because the only jumping I have seen him doing that is not on the trampoline, is when he is playing Super Mario Brothers on the computer.

This is Emily's newest Artwork, or should I say Wallwork. She has used permanent black ink to give the lounge wall a new refreshinig facelift. She must not have liked the look of clean white walls since It has not even been 1 week since daddy scrubbed the walls from top to bottom.

NOT SO 'INCY WINCY' SPIDER

Look at the visitor we had inside today!!!!. This Spider was HUGE and very scary looking - I could even make out its eyes
looking at me :-( With its legs bent straight it would have been about the size of my hand. I closed the door and stuck a towel at the bottom so it couldn't escape until David got home from work to take it outside.

JACOB TURNS 1 YEAR - 22 March 2009

Today we as a family celebrated Jacobs 1st Birthday. I was not anything big as I would have liked, but I have been unwell lately and havent had the energy or patience to organise anything big.
We took a lot of photos but very few came out well, as Jacob was grumpy, tired & just NOT in party mood. But now that he is full of chocolate cake, I'm sure when he wakes from his nap he will have PLENTY of energy to keep him climbing up the walls until midnight :-)
