Today was Christopher,s cross country race at school. For the small children it was a few hundred meters around the school oval. I don't think their little legs could carry them much further then that.
Christopher raced against the other grade 1 boys and came 12th out of 13 runners. Well, you could say 14 runners as one boy vanished somewhere along the track. He probably ran off in the wrong direction and is half way to town by now :-) Christopher had a lot of fun and was very proud of himself for beating his last years record where he came 19th out of 19 runners. I was very proud of Christopher as he put in 100% effort,even though he's not a 'SPORTY' type child (he'd rather play sport on the computer) where there were other kids that did not come to school or came late so that they didn't have to participate. I can proudly say that my boy always gives 100%. I AM VERY PROUD OF YOU CHRISTOPHER :-)
